| Professor Bohannan is a world-leading scientist in the field of microbial ecology. He has pioneered the use of biogeographical analyses as powerful tools for studying the response of microbial communities to environmental change and the resulting consequences of these responses for ecosystem functions. In Germany he continues his research at the Collaborative Research Centre “Origin and Function of Metaorganisms”. |
